Is it safe for clients to email bank statements to their lawyer?

Email offers weak safeguards for highly sensitive financial records. A Canadian-hosted portal with encryption at rest and in transit is materially safer.

Do clients need to create an account?

Clients can use a secure guest link (no account needed; email OTP verification) or a free my-id.ca consumer account. The share email includes the link.

Does a portal alone solve disclosure intake?
