The trial

Creating a business account starts a 14-day trial at your first sign-in.

  • No credit card. Card details are not collected up front, and nothing is charged unless you choose a plan.
  • Starter limits apply. The trial runs on the Starter plan's entitlements: up to 50 active clients, unlimited checklist and document-list templates, unlimited document downloads and file grabs, and 1 GB of storage.
  • Collection is never metered. Sending a checklist to a client is not rationed during the trial. The limits are there to size the account, not to stop you from testing the thing you came to test.

The current numbers on this page are rendered from the same typed catalog the application enforces, so the pricing page and your account will always agree.

What to do with 14 days

The trial is worth what you learn from it, and the useful thing to learn is whether a real client will actually complete a checklist. That is one afternoon of work:

  1. Build or clone one checklist for a workflow you repeat.
  2. Add a real client and attach it.
  3. Send a guest link and watch what comes back.

Then reuse the same template on a second client. A template you have used twice is the point at which hivi-x starts saving time rather than costing it.

When the trial ends

Nothing is deleted. Your clients, checklists, templates, and uploaded files are retained.

What changes is access: once the trial ends you cannot continue working in the workspace until you choose a plan. Choosing one restores access to exactly the same data — there is no re-import, no re-invite, and no setup to redo.

If you need to export a file before deciding, or you want more time to finish an evaluation, contact support before the trial ends.

Billing

  • Plans are billed monthly, in Canadian dollars, per business account.
  • The monthly amount shown on the pricing page is the amount charged. There is no setup fee and no per-client charge.
  • There is no annual plan and no annual commitment.
  • Card details are handled by Stripe. hivi-x never sees or stores card numbers.
  • Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel from Plan & Payments in your account.
  • For an invoice, a tax receipt, or a question about sales tax on your subscription, contact support.

What the plans differ on

Starter caps active clients at 50. Professional and Enterprise remove that cap. All three include the same collection workflow — reusable checklists, guest links and client-portal uploads, missing-item tracking, unlimited document downloads and file grabs, and 1 GB of storage.

The client limit counts active clients: deleting a client returns the slot to your count.

Your clients are never billed

Clients do not pay for anything and do not need a paid account. They either use a guest link with an emailed verification code, or a free my-id.ca account if they would rather keep the documents they send you.
